Hello!
I'm Sarah – a UK-based designer, art director, illustrator and photographer with over twenty years experience in children's publishing. I offer a complete book design service from storyboarding picture books; designing & commissioning fully illustrated children's books; series identity, lettering, logos, to book covers and photography. Working either independently or with illustrators, my expertise lies in producing well-crafted, creative covers and internal designs on time and within budget.
In addition to my design work, I like to inspire others and encourage new talent by giving exciting and informative talks to schools, colleges and festivals about the book design process. I have spoken at UCL, Reading University and more recently at the Cheltenham Literature Festival.
I work from home in my 'studiolo' and currently live in the South-East of England. I am truly passionate about books and all things creative.
